DESCRIPTION
Situated on the second floor of a period building on the main street of Ile Saint-Louis, this studio apartment has a large window that looks onto a quiet courtyard. The main room has high ceilings, wooden floors and built-in cupboards that provide plenty of space to store clothes and luggage during your stay.
There is a wall mounted flat screen cable TV, a high speed internet connection, a Hi-fi and a telephone with free international calls to numerous destinations : Europe, United States, Canada, Australia.
A well equipped kitchenette is tucked away behind a curtain. It has a refrigerator, microwave, two electric hotplates, small dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee-maker and toaster - everything you need to prepare tasty meals at home. A small dining table seats two people.
The double bed (W140 cm) is in an alcove that can be separated from the living area by drawing the curtains. There is also a settee that converts into a double bed for two more people, preferably children. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, mirror, toilet and hairdryer.
All linen and towels are provided.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Île Saint-Louis is a picturesque residential area in the heart of Paris and the home of many international celebrities. Ideally situated between the Latin quarter on the left bank and the Marais on the right bank, the island has is a peaceful haven in the centre of the city, just five minutes walk from Notre Dame cathedral on the larger Île de la Cité.
Strolling along the tree-lined banks of the Seine while admiring the facades of the 17th century city mansions and watching the boats on the river is a pure delight. The main street of the island, rue Saint-Louis-en-l’Ile, has many restaurants, antique shops, boutiques and cafés and is a lively place to shop and eat both during the day and at night.
